Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Screw Engine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Screw Engine is an online audio processing platform. Users can upload audio files for processing using our proprietary effects engine. The Service operates on a token-based system where tokens are purchased and consumed per render.

Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Tokens & Purchases

Tokens are purchased through Stripe or PayPal and are non-transferable
Token balances are associated with your account and have no cash value
Tokens are consumed when you process audio files through the Service
We reserve the right to modify token pricing at any time; existing purchased tokens will not be affected

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service, all token purchases are final. If you experience a technical issue that results in tokens being consumed without receiving your processed audio, please contact us at wrecks@wrecksonthebeat.com and we will review your case and may issue token credits at our discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload content that you do not have the rights to process
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our processing algorithms

Intellectual Property

The Screw Engine name, logo, audio processing technology, and website design are the property of Screw Engine and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the audio content you upload and the processed output you receive.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Screw Engine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, any remaining token balance is forfeited.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
