Five effects. One plugin. Instant Texas sound.
Two ways to use Screw Engine: VST plugin and Online editor. Each sold separately.
Hear the difference. Original track vs. Screw Engine Online render.
Pitch-shifting engine inspired by the screwed and chopped sound. Dial it back for a subtle slow or crank it for that deep, syrupy drag.
A lush flanger that adds swirling depth and movement. From subtle shimmer to a full warped wash, Drank colors your sound with liquid modulation.
Phaser effect that layers shifting phase sweeps across your signal. Adds that hazy, atmospheric texture that sits perfectly behind slowed vocals and pads.
Flutter and wow emulation that recreates the imperfections of worn cassette tape. Gives your mix that warped, lo-fi character that sounds like it came off a dubbed tape.
Beat-synced chop effect that locks to your tempo and the screw speed. Chops ahead and cuts back automatically. Automate it for ease of use.
Set up Min Max values in the options tab and enable all automations to quickly export your track with a screwed up vibe.
Screw Engine is designed to be placed on your master bus for full mix processing, not for real-time monitoring or live performance. The plugin introduces a small amount of latency depending on Screw Level to ensure accurate chop timing. Your DAW automatically compensates for this through Plugin Delay Compensation (PDC). For best results, apply Screw Engine to your master at 100% Mix (wet) and render or bounce your track.
While rendering intense Screw Levels, the DAW playhead may finish before the processed audio completes. Extend your waveform or add silence at the end so the effected audio can finish. This may vary by DAW.
